On April 30, Xiaoxiang Film Group and Malanshan Audio & Video Laboratory (MLS Lab) signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement, marking a new chapter in the integration of film and technology.

The signing ceremony was attended by Gu Liang, Chairman of Xiaoxiang Film Group; Tu Yongfeng, Director of MLS Lab; and other representatives. Under the agreement, the two sides will collaborate in areas such as interactive film technologies, virtual reality ecosystems, and immersive cinema experiences.

Xiaoxiang Film Group will leverage its strengths in IP development and industry resources, while MLS Lab will provide core technological support including AI Video Restoration & Enhancement, AI Video Translation, and VR film technologies. Together, they aim to accelerate the commercialization of “film + technology” applications, foster cultural innovation, and create new consumer experiences.

During the discussion session, Xiaoxiang Film Group expressed appreciation for MLS Lab’s support, emphasizing that technology is the driving force behind the future of film production. The group highlighted the importance of applying advanced technologies throughout the production cycle to enhance content quality and deliver diverse viewing experiences.

MLS Lab reaffirmed that film production is a key application scenario for its technologies. By combining technical innovation, creative content development, and talent cultivation, the partnership will establish a collaborative ecosystem that drives continuous growth in the “film + technology” sector.
